Ontario Christian Fellowship was birthed in 1969 under the leadership of Dan Galat, Jim Haring, Duane Getz, and other committed Christ-followers. The church first met in the old Bedford School in Ontario while the current building was under construction. Originally named Apostolic Christian Church of Ontario, the name Ontario Christian Fellowship was added in 1994 to clarify our identity and promote community outreach.
From its beginning until today, the members of OCF embrace Core Values:
While independent and autonomous in our church governance, leadership, and ministry, we are loosely affiliated with like-minded churches from our founding denomination in the area of family church camps and foreign mission support. We are equally supportive and involved with other evangelical churches and ministries in our community.
OCF has grown over the years in number and faith. The recent 45,000 sq. ft. addition to the building was completed in the fall of 2009, adding to the 13,000 sq. ft. of existing building, which allowed much-needed Sunday school space and opportunities for additional ministries. God continues to grow us up and grow us out.
