OCF has three groups of young people who regularly gather for food, fellowship, fun, and teaching from God's Word. These groups encompass all young people from 7th Grade through College & Career.
Junior Youth Group is for students Grades 7-8. This group meets at OCF Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30p during the school year. They have their own room in the Youth wing of the lower level of OCF and enjoy activities as part of their regular meetings. The lessons are based on topics and issues that affect this age group and show how God wants to be involved in their lives. Special outings are also provided throughout the year. For more information, contact Pastor Michael Lamp.
Senior Youth Group (Thusia) is for students Grades 9-12. The theme verse of this ministry is Romans 12:1, “Offer your bodies as living sacrifices.” Their goal is motivating youth to magnify God and minister to others. Thusia meets Wednesdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 5:30 pm in the Sr. Youth Room in the lower level of the new building. Special activities and coordinated outings, like attending youth concerts, are planned frequently throughout the year. For more information, contact Pastor Michael Lamp.
Young Adult (Awakening) "Awakening" is a community movement of young adults committed to uniting all believers in the presence of the Lord. They aim to provide opportunities to commune with the Lord and fellowship with each other, while affirming the necessary use of each person's gifting to grow a passionate community.
Awakening meets twice per month and rotates meeting churches throughout the calendar year. OCF regularly hosts Awakening, and the dates they will be at OCF are posted on our calendar. They are currently holding monthly worship nights, prayer breakfasts, and a coffee house/open mic styled night.
