New to OCF
1. What type of church are you, and where are you located?
OCF is an evangelical, Christian fellowship that loves and serves the Lord, Jesus Christ. OCF is located at 636 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
2. What time are your Sunday services?
There are two morning services on Sundays: 9:00 am Traditional (hymn singing, piano, message from God's Word) and 10:30 am Contemporary (full praise team, same message from God's Word).
3. What do you offer for kids and youth?
We have a full youth program and a secure, staffed nursery. Children 1st-6th Grade are invited to join the Sunday School from the worship service at 11:00 am. Youth Group for Sr. High School is Sunday evening at 5:30 pm, and Wednesday at 7 pm.
4. Do you offer adult Bible classes?
Adult Bible Classes are Sunday mornings at 9:00 am in the Conference Room for those attending the Contemporary Worship, and 10:30 am in the Fireside Room for those attending the Traditional Worship. Bible topics vary.
5. What about Small Groups?
Small Groups are an integral part of OCF's ministry and everyone is welcome. See display in main foyer or contact Pastor Tim Schlatter for more details.
6. How should I dress and do I need to bring a Bible?
There are NO dress codes for services - generally the 9:00 am service is more traditional dress, and the 10:30 am service is casual. You are welcome to carry your personal Bible, but Bibles are available in both worship areas.
7. Is counseling available?
Counseling is available on request - contact Pastor Tim Schlatter.
8. What about giving?
OCF does not "pass a plate" for collections - offering boxes are located at the rear of the chapel and sanctuary for those who wish to give. You can also easily give through our online donation page - click on the "Giving" tab on the left, then Online Giving tab (bottom) to access page. There are NO monetary funds kept on the premises.
9. Do you serve Holy Communion?
Communion, also called "The Lord's Supper," is served every other month at both morning services.
10. Do you practice water baptism?
The symbolic ordinance of water baptism is encouraged for all believers (of age) who have placed their personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
